Our Sprague-Dawley Rat Plasma is collected from 8-12 weeks old sexually-matured rats. The pooled blood is centrifuged to remove unwanted components. Our Sterile-Filtered Plasma is filtered through a 0.2-micron filter while other places will just use a 0.45-micron filter. Our Bovine Plasma an all-American product is collected from pooled blood and centrifuged to remove cells and cellular debris. It is collected with sodium citrate. Every batch is tested for clotting to ensure the clotting factors in the product are active.
